Student Banking

Nicole Morris, a parent at Dardanup Primary School, is managing the school banking for our students. If you would like your child/ren to take up this opportunity you will need to open a Youth Saver Account with the Commonwealth Bank.

This can be done three ways

1. Existing Commonwealth Bank customers can log into Netbank and apply online from there. (Nicole has instructions on how to do this)

2. Visit a Commonwealth Branch with both ID for the parent and child. This is the easiest option as there are no paper forms or identification checks to complete

3. Parents can call 13 2221 to open an account over the phone.

Some children may already have Youth Saver or Dollarmite accounts opened with the Commonwealth.

The school will receive $5 for every new account activated when the first deposit is received and a 5% commission for each deposit from then on.

Nicole is set up every Friday morning before school outside the Pre Primary classroom in the ECE area.

Alternatively you can place your deposit book in the P&C Box in the front office every Thursday before the end of school. These will be available for collection from the front office after banking has been processed on the Friday.

Every 10 deposits a child makes they are able to choose a prize from a selection of rewards.
